Dytran model 5334, a high temperature hybrid vibration monitoring system is made of a charge mode accelerometer and in-line miniature differential charge amplifier. This runs on a permanently joined current 2-wire (IEPE) power unit, integrated with an interconnecting integral hardline cable. Dytran model 5334 is meant to be hybrid because it acts as a single unit after combining both IEPE and charge mode piezoelectric technologies. There is an 18-inch long hardline cable, which is also SiO2 insulated to help connect the accelerator and the input of the charge amplifier. This remains unaffected by high temperature. The innovative design of this model prevents the threat of EMI/ground loop interference. Has hermetic sealing too, which promises reliable operation during high humidity and dirty environments. Extremely stable operation ensured with stainless steel construction and ultra high temperature piezoelectric crystals in compression mode.
