Dytran Dynapulse™ 5850B series of versatile impulse hammer, which can be used to excite structures or machinery with a definable impulse force. Resonance response being a important parameter to gauge the dynamic behavior and structural strength of any structure, from miniature to very large sizes. the impulse hammers are in huge demand. 5850B works on the principle of Integrated Electronic Piezoelectric (IEPE) technology and is equipped with a 150 g impact hammer, complete with 3 interchangeable tips. Since a large structure responds to large forces, and small structure, to proportionate force levels, 5850B is equipped to measure at three sensitivity levels, namely, 1, 10, and 100 mV/lbf. Depending on the structure to be tested, you can choose the sensitivity using the easy-to-use 3-position toggle switch.
