The 3123A by Dytran Instruments is an accelerometer calibrator which is designed for determining the sensitivity and frequency response characteristics of unknown acceleration, velocity and displacement sensors. Each of the unit is fully supported with an electrodynamic shaker and control system for finishing task such as built-in NIST traceable calibrations. For its sensitivity, it has a 100 mV/g and it is mounted on top surface through the 10-32 tapped hole. Plus, it comes with a calibrating standard which is designed for a certain operation. In addition, it uses a driving coupled pair through the electrodynamic shaker system which can withstand various frequencies and amplitudes. At every application, it is configured to suit for specific frequency, amplitude and corresponding output readings that comes from the device itself.
