The starting point of the "Power4® REX" series is formed by two variants which are equipped with a 3-phase connection and have 480 W or 960 W output power. They can be supplied with AC voltage from 320 V to 575 V or with DC voltage from 450 V to 820 V. The PFR12D switched-mode power supplies are characterized by their compact design. This enables volume savings of up to 35 % compared to conventional switched-mode power supplies. In combination with the other components of the REX system, the space-saving design even ensures area savings of up to 60 %. Thanks to the innovative connection technology, the PFR12D can be easily connected to all other components of the REX system. Both the mechanical and electrical connections are made without the need for any accessories such as bridges or busbars. The Power4® REX power supplies are also capable of providing various parameter and status data for the higher-level control system. In this way, the PFR12D type switching power supplies provide increased transparency in every application. The transmission to the control system takes place via ControlPlex® Controller and is optional. The PFR12D switched-mode power supplies detect independently and automatically whether communication is available.
