The Eastman Micro Fog™ pressure fed blade lubrication and cooling system ensures maximum heat reduction when cutting highly fusible materials. The Micro Fog is ideal for cutting Cordura, PVC plastic or polyester, and vinyl. Eastman’s exclusive Micro Fog machine ensures maximum heat reduction for cutting highly fusible materials and plastics. The Micro Fog device sends a mist of coolant / lubricant, assisted by 90-120 psi compressed air, behind the knife and out through a specially slotted wave-edged blade. This allows coolant to penetrate every layer, eliminating the conditions that cause fusing. The Micro Fog is ideal for cutting Cordura® , PVC plastic or polyester, and vinyl. The Micro Fog™ is available in a standard version, 629XMF, and a heavy-duty version, 627XMF.
