External burnishing tool ø 55 mm, 0.2 µm, max. 1400 N/mm2 | EG5

The EG5 tools are suitable for both cylindrical and conical outer surfaces, plane surfaces, and bores, having 55 mm diameter. They are capable of machining internal and external plane surfaces, as well as cylindrical and conical bores. The products can also be used on CNC or conventional lathes, and also machining in a chuck. A surface finish of Rz < 1 micron (Ra = 0.2 micron) can also be attained. These products are capable of processing all metallic materials, having a tensile strength of up to 1400 N/ mm2 and a maximum hardness of HRC=45. The directions of the rotation is possible, and it only requires only short period of processing. In addition, these devices can eliminate the set-up times.
