The RDO and RIO tools from Ecoroll are provided with the OMEGA peeling head machine cylinder liners. The liners can be pre-drilled, drilled, skived and roller burnished in a single pass as needed. They effect correction of circularity defects in the liner, and as a result, twist is necessarily minimized or even removed. The tools feature a short primary machining time, improved cutting operating with cutting speed of up to 300 m/min, and feed rates of 3-6 mm/rev. The instruments also exhibit significant cost minimization, including its diameter range of 60 to 40 mm.
