Miniature sensors with integrated elctronics and touch display
The digital laser sensors of the AXIS and HG-C series measure the distance or the position of an object in a highly reliable, non-contact and wear-free manner according to the triangulation principle. The integrated microcontroller calculates the laser light intensity by color field correction and by the reflectance and adapts this to the object properties, such as for example color, roughness, reflectance or translucency. Glossy metals are just as easily measurable as matt, dark materials (rubber, plastic).
The AXIS series sensors are available in two accuracy classes. The models AXIS-M and AXIS-MX achieve a resolution of up to 2 μm and offer an excellent price-performance ratio - ideal for OEM applications. For demanding applications, the "High Performance"-model recommends itself with a resolution of 0.7 μm and higher accuracy. The output signal can be configured as RS485 and RS232 as well as analog voltage and current signal like 0 ... 10 V or 4 ... 20 mA.
