Description

Large Gain and Emission Bandwidths High Damage Thresholds and Saturation Power Ideal for Ultra-Fast Lasers and Oscillators Yb:KGW, Yb:KYW, Nd:YVO4, and Nd:YAG Crystals Also Available Ti:Sapphire Laser Crystals are a high damage threshold lasing medium that is ideal for implementation into ultra-fast, femtosecond pulsed or wavelength tunable continuous wave lasers. Ti:Sapphire Laser Crystals feature an absorption band in the green spectrum, superior thermal conductivity, 3.2µs upper-state lifetimes, and a strong Kerr effect. These crystals can be effectively pumped using 515 or 532nm lasers. Pumping using short pulse flash lamps is ideal for high pulsed energy laser systems, while DPSS lasers are more suitable for tunable CW lasers or high repetition rate oscillators. Because of Ti:Sapphires high saturation power, DPSS laser pump beams should be strongly focused and of high transversal beam quality and temporal stability. Additionally, Ti:Sapphire laser crystals can be pumped using 445nm blue diodes to create Ti:Sapphire oscillators.
