The EFCO TSV are portable grinding and lapping machines with eccentricity. They are designed for the machining of surfaces in safety valves. The TSV-300 consists of 2 separate drives. One drive operates the grinding spindle, whereas the other drive actuates the eccentric motion. Advantages: • easy handling • set-up at valves with or without flange is possible • even (flat) surfaces • good self-cleaning of the grinding tools and therefore extended durability (service life) of the grinding media • equal dispersion of lapping paste during lapping procedure • cross cut sanding image Due to geometry, the grinding discs are faster at the outside edge of the seat than at the inner edge. The result is uneven removal of material. The sealing surface decreases to the outside. Eccentric grinding movements neutralize the influence of different cutting-speeds. A flat surface is produced.
