Sensors of the family IGEX22 for use in zone 22 with integrated electronics and direct switching output to the non-explosive area do not need a separate analysis device. This saves space and costs. The EGE IGEX20 proximity switches are based on the conventional inductive principle and switch when a metallic object moves close.
