Brazed systems and wire heating elements are what made Eichenauer so successful over a period of more than 90 years.
We are the first manufacture to have used brazed aluminum and stainless steel alloys in the area of small household appliances and put them on the market in a new generation of kettles with stainless steel base plate. When our heating elements were used in pad coffee makers, our products finally found their way into virtually every household.
These are some of the applications in which brazed systems are to be found: kettles, coffee makers, espresso machines and egg boilers.
Our wire heating elements are to be found in numerous applications such as air pre-heating (defroster protection) and air re-heating in ventilation systems, fan heaters using axial fans or based on the convection principle.
There is a wide range of potential uses.
Brazed Kettle System
The heating unit is a tubular aluminum element press-molded and brazed onto a stainless-steel base plate. Benefits include extremely short regulator response times and reduced lime-scale formation.
Nickel-free construction is possible, as are customer-specific base plate designs of varying diameters and dimensions including oval shapes.
Brazed Coffee Maker System
The component was specially developed for heating water based on the flow principle and for keeping coffee warm. It is characterized by a compact shape and short heat-up times due to its low mass – which allows it to achieve a high degree of energy efficiency.
The tubular heating element, water pipe, fastening brackets for the temperature regulator and the fuse are made of brazed aluminum.
