Description

Never before have such high travel speeds been achieved with such low rotational speeds as with the Eichenberger Speedy high-helix leadscrew. Extreme pitches of up to six times the diameter also meet the most challenging demands for efficient conversion of linear to rotary motion. High-helix leadscrews can also be used as innovative drive solutions to replace toothed belt drives, as they can be freely accelerated and positioned and operate without a second energy source. The good efficiency and price/performance ratio make them an ideal alternative to trapezoidal or ball screws for certain applications. Design features Leadscrews with high helix pitches bigger than the screw diameter (p ≤ 6xd) are manufactured from corrosion-protected steel by a cold rolling process and are combined with wear-resistant technopolymer flanged nuts in non-preloaded or preloaded versions. They are ideal for low to medium loads with small to mid-load capacity. Nuts made from bronze or alternative technopolymers can be used for higher loads or special applications. The finest surface quality of the steel leadscrews and high-performance technopolymer nuts enable very high efficiency levels. Small to medium load ratings Very high travel speeds High efficiency (η ≈ 0,5 ... 0,8 ) Weight optimisation with aluminium spindles Performance optimisation coating Highly reliable Low maintenance and long service life
