The broad applicability of the belts makes it suitable for various products, ranging from tomatoes and cucumbers to bell peppers, with different capacities. These systems are often integrated into production lines for draining bean sprouts. A notable advantage of this dewatering belt, compared to, for example, drying tunnels, is its compact design and relatively low energy consumption. If desired, the dewatering belt can be equipped with frequency-controlled belt beaters and/or extraction units. The combination of these different techniques results in an optimal end result of the dewatering process. In the drainage channel, water is separated from the air and discharged separately in a cassette.
