Air bearing pad EZ-0075 series

The narrow design of the EZ-0075 bearing pads allows space-saving installation while maintaining high load-bearing capacity. In terms of stiffness and damping, the bearing pads are comparable to our standard bearings; the air film on which the bearing pads move is between 3 and 7 µm. Unlike porous air bearings, this type of bearing is supplied with compressed air via a nozzle. Optimum characteristic curves are achieved by specifically tuning the parameters of nozzle diameter, channel structure, channel depth and bearing contour. Our special emergency running layer makes the bearing elements robust and durable. Pressure screws with ball head allow uncomplicated mounting and precise adjustment. Standard sizes range from 20×40 to 120×240 mm, other sizes are available upon request.
