Rail tanker discharge coupling KWK, KWZ series

For rail tankers with different hose connections or damaged / dirty thread the quick clamp coupling KWK has proved suitable for decades. Therefore it is standard of oil alarm vehicles (DIN 405) or rail car tankers (DIN 6602). Many forwarders of tank trucks use the KWK instead of various adapters on international routes. Type KWK Rail car discharge coupling with elbow DN 80 (3"), with captive seal KD, other end hose connection (e.g. VK or Storz coupling). Clamping device and clamps of galvanised steel. Type KWZ Rail car adapter type KWZ, one end with rail car thread 5½" Whitworth (DIN 26017 or old DIN 11), with captive seal GD 5½", other end hose connection e.g. with MK or Storz couplings. Special design with knuckle thread according to DIN 405 in stainless steel or as extended special type (LKWZ). Distribution usually by authorized distributors, agents and subsidiaries. OEMs are supplied directly by ELAFLEX.
