Elap HLS wire encoders offer excellent protection against environments and are easy to install. They are ideal for industrial applications requiring up to 12 metres of measuring length and high precision. The encoders are available with strokes between 1000 to 12000 mm and resolutions in the range of 0.04 to 1 mm. Output signal can be of push-pull or line driver type.
HLS encoders require supply voltage of 10 to 24 Vdc, and 5Vdc for line-driver output. Power consumption is 60 mA. They offer 1 zero reference pulse for every encoder revolution.
Encoder types HLS-S, HLS-M and HLS-L provide different mechanical sizes and measuring strokes.
Series HLS-S: Stroke 1000 mm
