Description
ME90 is incremental encoder available in a multitude of pulses per revolution (PPR). Its energy efficiency allows it to be powered by a battery in case of power outage, and this, along with its low cost, means it can substitute multiturn absolute encoder. A unique integrated circuit allows the available PPR to be multiplied by a factor of 1, 2 or 4. Outputs are available in six decades (999999) in BCD code version, and 24 bits (16777216) in binary or Gray version.
