12 volt Brushless DC motor 150 watt continuous rating Speed: 2000rpm --- CONFIGURATION: Motor diameter: 81.5mm Standard frame sizes for this motor: D63B5; D63B14 (11mm shaft) A great feature of the M077 motor is that they are compact in size, with a diameter of 81.5mm and total length of 178mm, it fits easily into small spaces. Within this frame size it provides a continuous power of 500w (and up to 750w Intermittent) --- USAGE: Motor weight is ~3.6kg, and is often used for small electric vehicles, such as scooters, and e-bikes. When selected with IP65 rating it is also suitable for winch applications given the short duty cycle of these items. Another key area of use for the M077 is with automatic gates and doors and lifting machines. --- Brushless DC motors meet variable speed requirements (adjusted and capped via controller), are easy to change direction and have a higher starting torque than AC motors. EMP's range of DC motors are highly efficient, generally operating at above 90% efficiency. They are also smaller than their AC equivalents and can operate at very low speeds if required. --- CONTROLLER: All BLDC motors require a suitable controller to perform the electronic commutation function in order to operate. These controllers also provide the capability to: -Control and cap the speed -Reverse direction of the motor -Set acceleration and deceleration requirements -Assign specific control parameters via custom set-up of your controller For this motor we recommend the KLS-M controller.
