Description

Highly Water Resistant, RF Polyurethane Resin Ultra high performance polyurethane offering a high level of protection in a range of operating environments while offering excellent electrical properties. UR5118 highly water resistant, RF polyurethane resin has been developed as an ultra high performance encapsulation and potting compound offering a high level of protection in a range of operating environments while offering excellent electrical properties. It has a high toughness offering protection from physical shock and vibration and is hard to tear. It has excellent resistance to sea water making it a perfect choice for marine electronics devices. Its low water absorption also means it has potential for use above or below the surface and has specialist fillers in order to maintain a low dielectric constant making it an ideal choice for sensors. UR5118 is an excellent choice for applications that are subject to radio frequency RF transmissions such as sensors used in a range of applications such as marine, automotive or aerospace. For more information please refer to the TDS, our technical support team are also on hand to discuss your application requirements further.
