ELEKTRA foot-operated switches are used, for instance, on woodworking machines, CNC processing machines, construction machines and bending machines. ELEKTRA foot-operated safety switches incorporate as an important feature of relevance to safety the forced opening of all contacts in combination with a pressure point element integrated under the pedal. In an emergency situation, it is possible to switch the pedal from the normal switch-on position - via and beyond a pressure element - into a second, latching STOP switch position. The machine cannot be switched back on until the switch has been manually reset (rotary button release).
