The voltage indicator type SPA can be used in medium voltage networks with a rated voltage of 5 kV to 36 kV. Its function is the permanent indication of the voltage status of the monitored conductors. The indication of the voltage is done by one LED indicator for each phase. The voltage indicator type SPA is available in two versions: - SPA-L: The connection between the sensors and the display unit is done by potential-free fibre optic cables. The sensors must be mounted on unscreened conductors. - SPA-S: The display unit is directly connected to the insulator or bushing. For the operation of the display device, an auxiliary power supply is required. The voltage indicator type SPA provides one to three remote indication contacts. The desired behaviour of these potential-free contacts can be determined when ordering.
