Monitoring device for safety shutdown of the boiler in case of carbon monoxide leakage.
Alarm threshold: 50 ppm CO according to DIN EN 50 291-1
This device is designed to protect people from the topical effects of carbon monoxide contact.
CO sensor service life max:
approx. 6 years (max. 40°C, min. 40% rH), approx. 10 years (max. 28°C, 30% rH)
Important warnings:
The following substances can influence the CO detector and possibly trigger a false alarm. Therefore, they must not be used in the room where CO detector is installed:
Ethylene, ethanol, alcohol, iso-propanol, gasoline, toluene, ethyl acetate, hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxides.
Persons with specific medical conditions may not be adequately protected by the CO detector and should use a warning device that produces audible and/or visible signals even at carbon monoxide concentrations below 50ppm. If in doubt, consult a physician.
