The SHT 240 socket water detector functions as a purely acoustic detector. If the sensor detects soil moisture, a loud acoustic alarm sounds and the LED flashes red. After the sensor has dried, the device automatically goes silent and the LED lights up green again. Functional description: The SHT 240 water detector is a quick-to-install indoor socket device for monitoring basements, washrooms, boiler rooms, cisterns, and more. The water sensor is mounted near the floor and the device is plugged into the socket. A signal generator is built in for a loud alarm. Extension sensor cable: If necessary, you can extend the sensor cable up to 50 m with a cable (2 x 0.14 mm²). To do this, you must cut the existing sensor cable and reconnect it with clamps.
