Description

The magnetic switch of the KDS 210 set with DIBt approval monitors the window position and transmits the information via a thin cable to an intermediate plug control unit with a switched 5 A socket. In this way, an exhaust air system can only be operated with a tilted or open window if it is ensured that sufficient fresh air flows into the room and thus no negative pressure is created that could draw dangerous and toxic carbon monoxide from a combustion site. Possible applications Fume cupboard control Exhaust air control for trough fans is only KDS 110 suitable DESCRIPTION Functional description: By using the KDS 210 cable exhaust control, an exhaust system can be used only when the window is open and the necessary supply air can enter the room. A cable solenoid switch on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information to the control unit via a thin cable. This is simply plugged between the socket and the mains plug of the extractor hood and only releases the power supply when the window is tilted or open. The mains plug fuse prevents accidental reconnection of the appliance plug of the cooker hood. Second window: The system can be combined with another cable solenoid switch KMS 098K22 (part no. 300743) for a second window. At least one window must be open for the exhaust air system to be switched on. Existing window contact: If a magnetic contact has already been installed by the window manufacturer and it is a normally open contact (normally open contact is closed when the window is closed), this can be used for the KDS 210. Only the enclosed 10 kOhm resistor
