The magnetic switch of the KDS 110 set with DIBt approval monitors the window position and transmits the information via a thin cable to a built-in control unit with a potential-free 5 A change-over relay. In this way, an exhaust air system can only be operated with a tilted or open window if it is ensured that sufficient fresh air flows into the room and thus no negative pressure is created that could draw dangerous and toxic carbon monoxide from a combustion site. Depending on the connection option (e.g. Miele PUR 98), the light of the bonnet can also be switched on independently of the window position.
DESCRIPTION
Functional description:
By using the KDS 110 cable exhaust control, an exhaust system can be used only when the window is open and the necessary supply air can enter the room. A magnetic switch on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information to the control unit via a thin cable. This releases the power supply only when the window is tilted or open.
Mounting:
The control cable is clipped to the control unit and the solenoid switch. Ideal for retrofitting if the control line has already been laid (2 wires, cable length max. 25m). The control unit is equipped with a potential-free changeover contact and can thus be interposed in the fan motor supply line of the extractor hood so that the lighting of the extractor hood functions independently of the window position. Second window (OR)
At least one window must be open so that the exhaust air system can be switched on. To do this, connect the KDS 110 SET to the cable solenoid switch KMS 098K22 for the second window.
