In this way, an air conditioner can be switched off automatically when a window is tilted or open, so that the outside air is not cooled and energy is wasted unnecessarily. DESCRIPTION Functional description: A transmitter on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information by radio to the receiver. The receiver is simply plugged in between the socket and the mains plug of the air conditioner and only releases the power supply when the window is closed. The mains plug fuse prevents the air conditioner's appliance plug from being reconnected. Additional windows can be fitted with additional transmitters FDS 098 (art. no. 300098, below) or FDS 098 L (art. no. 300198) can be used for monitoring.
