Professional CO2 warning device for permanent installation with low warning levels from 800 ppm, which is intended to encourage regular ventilation of a room and supports this with discreet warning tones. Similar to a CO2 traffic light, the illuminated plain text display provides information on the interpretation of the warning levels in German, e.g. from 800 ppm "Please ventilate" and from 2000 ppm a potential-free changeover relay switches to activate forced ventilation, for example. The CO2 sensor is external in order to find the optimal level independent of the position of the warning device.
DESCRIPTION
The GX-D250 is a carbon dioxide warning device with ppm accurate measurement and display of CO2 concentration, as well as display and storage of many operating parameters on a plain text display. The NDIR infrared sensor with high lifetime is permanently monitored by two μControllers and provides precise results with high repeatability. From 1000 ppm one is already warned with a discreet warning tone that it is time to ventilate again, from 2500 ppm the highest warning level is reached, the built-in piezo sound generator becomes louder and more intrusive and the potential-free changeover relay drops. In the event of technical faults detected by the device itself, e.g. a cable break, a second relay switches to inform the building management system, for example.
The GX-D250 provides the power supply required for the sensor, the concentration is transmitted digitally as pulse width modulation and can thus be interpreted very accurately by the warning device. The two relays are ideal for activating forced ventilation via the building management system.
