Radially mounted Hall effect speed sensors detect the rotation of a through shaft onto which a tone wheel is keyed, with dimensions compatible with the centre hole. This solution is ideal for those who have already prepared the housing for this type of mounting, and for those who need the through shaft to be free of bulk or obstructions at the closing flange. The latter is the case, for example, when a motor brake or cooling fan needs to be fitted, as the shaft exit must be clear on both sides. It is a simple installation and replacement solution and the most economical.
