The ionizing cleaning hood ICH is a non-contact cleaning system suitable for cleaning surfaces. The system consists of a stainless steel structure (hood) that encloses a row of rotating nozzles, 2 anti-static bars and 2 suction slots on the sides.
The operating principle is as follows: the material to be dusted starts to pass underneath the hood. The coarsest dust is sucked out of by the first slot and the ionization of the first bar removes charges from the material. Then, thanks to the compressed air emitted by the rotating nozzles, that move the air with a hammer effect, all the impurities are lifted from the material and then sucked out by the second slot. The ionizing effect of the second bar prevents the material from attracting dust again. The final result is a perfectly cleaned material free of electrostatic charges.
The number of the nozzles varies depending on the length of the hood, while for the bars it is possible to install either the ABSL or ABSL-RC model depending on the application.
The hood is equipped with integrated ducts for incoming air and connectors for suction.
