Description

ELTRA's CS-580A is an analyzer which permits accurate measurement of carbon and sulfur from ppm level up to 100 % in solid organic materials. Typical samples include ashes, building materials, coal, coke, gypsum, limestone, oil, plant materials, rubber, sand, soils, soot, tobacco and waste. The CS-580A is equipped with a high-temperature resistance furnace which contains a ceramic tube. The temperature can be adjusted up to 1550°C in steps of 1°C. The sample is fed to the analyzer either manually or via the "Autoloader" which caters for 36 or 130 samples, depending on the model. Thanks to sample weights of up to 500 mg and more even inhomogeneous materials can be reliably analyzed. The analyzer can be equipped with up to four independent infrared cells according to the user’s requirements, allowing for a great variety of applications.
