Conveyor belts are used to transport cut-off parts in the profile, pipe and tube production in order to accomodate the continuous process of the cutting machine. Follow-up processes, transport boxes and an optional side-mounted stainless steel container are possible drop off locations for the conveyor. The lateral drop off can be realized via mechanical puller, multiple air nozzles or energy-efficient AirKnives. Activation of the installed drop off method occurs through signals from either a length measurement, an integrated photocell or an external pulse from the cutting machine or a master control. Conveyor belts for medical use can be equipped with an optimized cleanability through usage of different materials for the machine frame.
