10 / 350 us current impulse generator specially designed for testing Surge Protection Devices (SPD) with 2 or 3 terminals. Personnel safety is maintained through high voltage outputs separated from the control elements. The CTS-10350 is an impulse generator with current wave shape 10/350 μs at the output terminals. The generator has dual outputs which enable testing of 2 terminal and 3 terminal devices up to class 1. The generator impedance is 1ohm in dual output mode or 0.5ohm when both outputs are connected together. An internal measurement system monitors peak impulse voltage and current for display on the front panel. BNC monitor outputs enable waveform display on an external oscilloscope. High voltage outputs on the top plate can be protected by a test cabinet for increased operator protection. The colour touch panel with graphic help, guides the user through test programming and setup. An integrated web server gives access to test setups and reports from any internet browser.
