Ultrasonic flowmeters take measurements through the outside of the pipe with high frequency sound. While the transmitter sensor of the flowmeter, which takes measurements with the help of 2 sensors, sends high frequency sound waves into the pipe, the receiver sensor determines the velocity of the fluid according to the reception of this signal. In pipes of different materials, measurements can be taken easily from outside the pipe. In this way, there is no need to intervene on the pipe. They can take measurements from DN15 to DN6000 according to sensor sizes. The absence of an inner coating (concrete, fiberglass, etc.) in the pipes that these model flow meters will be used in, the fact that the pipes are not rusted, damaged, and their integrity is not impaired are important factors for measurement. Pipe connection lengths that can be used according to sensor sizes are listed below:
Ultrasonic flowmeters also offer continuous recording for up to 5 years with its recording feature.
