It is an ultrasonic flowmeter device designed to measure the instantaneous flow in an open channel and to record the total flow, used in domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants and adapted to all kinds of weirs and channels. It is mounted on a weir or weir in an open channel to measure the flow with its non-contact ultrasonic sensor.
Waterproof housing with electronic display can be mounted up to 150 m (500 ft) from the sensor. The Open Channel Flowmeter continuously displays, collects, transmits and records open channel flow.
For quick and easy calibration, the measurement units (eg gallons, liters, etc.) and weir or weir type are selected from the menu using the keypad. Calibration values and recorded data are password protected and are not deleted during power cuts. It shows flow reports as daily total, minimum, maximum and average flow and sends data records to PLC or PC via output modules.
The general features of the Open Channel Flowmeter are listed below.

➢ Shows the total flow (m3) (total, today, last 1 hour and last 24 hours).
➢ Alarm can be set for maximum and minimum flow values.
➢ Calibration is done from the front panel.
