Enelsan Timekeeper ; It is an industrial protection system consisting of a sensor (detector), front loader (amplifier) and electronic unit. The Cycle Watcher is also called the bucket counter in the process industry. It notifies the user with reliable accuracy of loss of motion in moving or rotating machines. The alarm location is selected as above or below a specified speed.
The non-contact motion detection system designed and produced by Enelsan provides reliable detection from a long distance and provides maximum protection at low cost even in the most difficult environmental and working conditions.
Enelsan's timekeeper is long-lasting and its durable sensor is not affected by dust, dirt and moisture compared to proximity sensors, and its non-contact operation design eliminates the need for lubrication, cleaning and replacement of parts as a result of wear. The sensor (detector) can operate at very high temperatures, as the preamplifier (amplifier) is housed in a separate cast aluminum box.
Installation and cabling of Enelsan cycle guards is very simple. It can be placed at a distance of 10 cm from the metal material to be detected. The same application cannot be more than 2-3 cm with proximity sensors, and this causes the sensor to break in systems operating with vibration.
This system greatly reduces downtime and cleaning costs due to malfunctions in moving equipment. Its use prevents great material damage and even fire hazards that may arise from jamming. These protection systems, which are very effective in the business, perhaps pay for themselves at the first warning.
