DC board (DCB) is designed to provide uninterrupted power to DC consumers (relay protection and automation devices, microprocessor protection terminals, drives of high-voltage switches, etc.) in all operating modes of the auxiliary system of stations and substations from batteries or rectifier chargers (RC). Boards fully comply with the standard of JSC "FGC UES" SO 153-34.20.122-2006 "Process engineering standards with high voltage of 35-750 kV"
DCB composition
Functionally, the DCB consists of a power section, an alarm system, an insulation monitoring system, a voltage quality control system, a monitoring and status recording system.
Direct current board power section
The power section includes switching and protection devices for power circuits, cable connections and internal power connections (equipment that performs the main functions of power distribution inside the board).
Direct current board alarm system
The alarm system is a flexible technical solution for visual monitoring of the state of the equipment in the main modes of operation of the DCB, which is available in many versions to satisfy any customer needs.
Feeder insulation monitoring system
Insulation control is one of the most important functions of the board; it is carried out automatically and is achieved by introducing high-tech equipment into the board, designed to solve such problems. Bender and Schneider Electric’s control systems make it possible to continuously monitor the outgoing lines insulation state, warning of its reduction, if necessary.
Voltage quality control system
DCB distributes DC voltage between consumers, so the voltage and its parameters must be controlled.
