Converters of low-voltage modular type (ZVU-M) are intended for receiving electric energy of alternating current, converting it into electrical energy of direct current, charging various types of stationary batteries, and powering the load in the buffer both with and without the battery.
ZVU-M devices are built based on RF units and they allow designing a rectifier charger ideally. The modular layout and the possibility of "hot-swap" mode provide meeting the highest requirements for modern power supply systems, including the reservation of rectifying units based on the N+1 principle and the possibility of expanding existing systems.
- NLT.M power rectifier module unit
- filter board
- control, monitoring, and information display module (UM); board for interfacing UM;
- and system of complex automation and data transmission via IEC 61850, 61870 (CAPD) protocol (optional).
The rectifier charger performs the following functions:
- reliable power supply for DC power receivers;
- power supply of protection, automation, and telemechanics circuits, remote control equipment, alarm and warning systems;
- charging and recharging batteries in the following modes: support battery charging with stabilized voltage, rapid battery charging, and equalizing battery charging;
- temperature compensation of the battery charge (control of output voltage of rectifiers depending on the temperature);
- control of input and output voltage deviations;
- detection of a voltage loss in the supply mains or its unacceptable reduction;
