In comparison to plastic containers, the advantages of metal waste containers are that they are easy to clean hygienically, and are fire-resistant and stronger. Due to the combination of material and design, the demand for metal waste containers is high and they blend in well in all environments. Push-bins have self-closing lids, meaning that they starve a possible fire of oxygen. Many models are equipped with an inner bin and a rubber edge trim on the base to protect the floor.
