This test station was developed for the functional testing of printed circuit boards, panels, and assemblies under temperature conditions up to 140°C.
The test cell is particularly suitable for the initial sampling of products from the automotive sector, but also for actuators, control units, sensors, and many other assemblies in high-temperature environments.
Based on the standard ENGMATEC test handler, the test cell can be used with the same interface for manual loading or for inline operation.
Offline temperature control with manual loading is possible for laboratory applications, for example, while the inline variant is suitable for series production.
With this test cell, the DUT is preheated outside the system, then contacted in the machine and tested via a tester provided by the customer. During the test, the DUT must be kept at the target temperature. The temperature is continuously adjustable from room temperature to 140°C. The system is manually loaded, started, and unloaded via a drawer system with one DUT at a time. The process then runs without the operator present.
