Description

Entec's Single/Three-Phase Solid Capacitor Switch(SPCS-27) for reactive power control, is designed for heavy-duty operation of capacitive current switching applications for unstable power line system. The operating mechanism uses a permanent magnetic actuator that guarantees high reliability and maintenance-free operation. The magnetic force provides faster and more efficient latching action compared to mechanical force. It uses vacuum interrupters encapsulated in the epoxy bushing to arc quenching. The bushings are made of HCEP(Hydrophobic Cycloaliphatic Epoxy) that provides excellent insulation performance even under harsh climatic environments and polluted areas. The Capacitor Switch tank and control cubicle are made of stainless steel, which have strong endurance against hot, humid, dusty, or corrosive environment. The Capacitor Switch is supplied with a microprocessor-based controller(ETCAP121) for feeder automation. Both automatic and manual control are available. The Capacitor Switch has been fully type tested by KERI, an accredited laboratory, according to the international standards IEEE C37.66.
