Description

The SD series rectifiers are industry-grade systems, built according to customer specifications and requirements. The technical specifications of the rectifiers also depend on the type of battery incorporated in the system. All battery specifications are pre-set by the company, condition to no particular specifications requested by the user. The DC UPS is set-up with the following battery parameters- Float Voltage (V), Alarm to indicate high voltage (V), minimum test voltage for battery (V), alarm to indicate battery discharge (V), end of discharge voltage (V) and alarm to indicate impending shutdown (V). The rectifiers feature an efficient and automatic battery testing function. The time interval between subsequent testing can be selected as desired from options comprising weekly, fortnightly or monthly testing. When the time for testing arrives, the control unit automatically discharges the batteries for a short period of time and conducts automatic testing of the working parameters of the batteries. This determines their working condition and aids in maintaining the batteries and connecting elements in top working condition. The test is performed 24 hours after the last battery is discharged, to eliminate flaws in diagnosis.
