Dry off or drying ovens are a critical final step in many production processes across a wide range of applications. Drying not only removes the moisture content from coatings and various substrates but is also used in sterilizing materials such as medical and lab equipment. Drying ovens can range from simple dry off application requirements to more complex moisture reduction and sterilization processes that have stringent temperature and uniformity set ranges. Typically drying oven temperatures can range from just above ambient up to 1000°F. Epcon can design the optimal configuration, such as a batch or conveyorized system with advanced airflow management.
