The ELCorruMatic CSM (Corrugator Splice and Speed Module) comprises all the corrugated cardboard system settings pertaining to speeds, bridge quantities and splice synchronization. Through the interface to the dry end and to the order system, this productivity module automatically regulates all the machine parameters relating to splice speeds, bridge supply and splice point outward transfer with reference to the specific orders listed in the order management. All the paper types stored in the system are given their own characteristics (or groups of them) and are selected automatically. This harmonizes the machine speeds between the wet and dry ends and automatically calibrates them perfectly to each other. This achieves production of the effectively required order quantity, without variable over or underproduction. Productivity is increased, start-up waste minimized and residual roll management is improved.
