The coupling is used to control the incoming and outgoing flow along the horizontal axis of the joint. It is available in both carbon steel and stainless steel AISI 316 construction. It is available in different sizes from ¼ inches to 2 inches. The rotary motion of the coupling is supported by the axis of the bearing mounted in the coupling that is sustained by the sliding rollers. The bearing balls are greased with the greaser device mounted on the body of the joint.
The O-rings are used for the sealing and the rotation speed can be restricted up to 5 to 10rpm. The durable construction of the coupling makes it easy to use the joints even for the operations required to perform at highest pressure. The maximum pressure is 350 bars for the joint up to 1 inch (5000 psi) and the 150 bars is the maximum pressure for larger joints (2100 psi). The use of temperature is based on the type of the seal, including NBR, Viton and PTFE. It has BSPP threads to increase its efficiency.
