Revolutionizing Connecting Rod Bearing Monitoring CoRoM is a wireless and batteryless sensing node with energy harvesting system that provides direct measurement of the temperature from the ConRod bearing, the most critical point in diesel engines. By continuously monitoring via Wi-Fi/BLE the ConRod bearing and oil temperature, CoRoM offers a proactive approach to maintenance, providing an early warning system for bearing seizure, and avoiding catastrophic engine failure. CoRoM's innovative technology offers a revolutionary approach to connecting rod bearing monitoring in diesel engines, which can lead to significant cost savings and improved engine performance. The temperature of ConRod upper bearing shell is measured by a PT100 sensor, located in the groove of ConRod upper cap with or without drilling a hole to get upper bearing shell temperature CoRoM Lub-oil sensor, measures the lube oil temperature going upwards to piston crown by a PT100 sensor. The sensor hole is drilled vertically on the upper cap of ConRod to reach the oil passage.​
