The ESTRUAGUA Circular Sludge Thickener is made out of stainless mesh AISI 304 with a triangular section and parallel to the axis. The sludge which must be treated is introduced in the inside of the drum by a distribution box and a double conducting channel. The filtered liquid crosses the holes while the purged sediment is brought towards the waste exit by means of an internal helical band. The dryness and the productivity depend on the incoming flow and the condition and type of sludge. The capture rate of the sludge is excellent. Characteristics: The ESTRUAGUA thickeners are closed and compact. All parts in direct contact with the effluent are in stainless steel or in plastic materials. It is made up of by an entry box and little double drainage channel that distributes the flow along two generators located under the drum axis. This design allows the sludge to be distributed over a large filtering surface and a tangential filtering defect.
