Flex-7 Midi is TRIO 's next generation of high-performance , compact, flexible machine controller. Supports 128 motion axes via EtherCAT , servo cycles time as low as 125µs . Flex-7 Midi Benefiting from a redesigned communication interface and a quad-core processor, the Flex-7 offers a step change in performance within Trio's range of flexible machine controllers. Flex-7Midi has independent cores dedicated to motion and communication, combined with Gigabit Ethernet hardware, to handle complex motion and high-speed communication interfaces for high-axis-count machines. Flex-7 allows flexible port configuration on central Ethernet ports. Allows software to select a Gigabit Ethernet port (for communication with a PLC or factory network) or a second EtherCAT port (for allowing machine partitioning). TrioBASIC (Trio's proven multitasking programming language) or the industry standard IEC-61131-3 using the powerful MotionPerfect application development software. Flex-7 is fully compatible with Trio's Flexslice system, which consists of a range of high-performance I/O peripherals, including digital and analog I/O as well as stepper controllers, temperature measurement, and encoder interfaces. Based on Trio's advanced movement core, the entire set of movement functions is available in all languages, making complex movements simple.
