The cylinders in this series are useful for various applications, especially those in which the load has to be supported for a very long time. The items come with a lock nut that can be screwed down onto the cylinder body, holding the load mechanically. This simple process ensures the safety of an operation under load. CGG cylinders come with concentric grooves machined into the end of the rod, which improves the load grip. Note that the models over 30t come with lifting eyelets that provide ease of transport. The models over 50t are defined by cylinders that are of a plunging type, preventing any over-stroke. The rod comes with a colored zone that becomes visible 10mm before the end of the piston stroke, while all the models can operate with off-centered load, up to 8% of their nominal capacity.
