Most accidents are caused by poor visibility or the inadequate slip resistant surface of walkways and stairs. EUROGRATE® Safety products are designed to ensure the highest level of slip resistance.
That is why EUROGRATE® offers a choice of 4 slip resistance options for gratings, as well as an automated manufacturing process for incorporating the grains of quartz that is unique in Europe.
EUROGRATE® supplies walkways and surfaces that meet the requirements of the DIN 51130 slip resistance standard.
Our products are classified R13V10, whether or not the walkways are given their slip-resistant properties using quartz grit.
In addition to flat panels and stair tread covers, customers can choose between 4 options for GRP gratings on the basis of their project specifications or maintenance needs, in order to meet the requirement for a certified slip-resistant surface.
Concave gratings or surfaces (without silica grit) offering a good degree of slip resistance
Gratings or surfaces with silica grit in 3 versions:
"Standard" for most installations;
"Fine" for bare feet;
"Course" in the presence of oils or very slippery contexts e.g. offshore.
The types of surface described above (except for the concave type) can be replicated on all EUROGRATE® SAFETY products.
It should not be forgotten that in addition to a unique patented automated manufacturing process, EUROGRATE® also owes its credibility in the market to the slip-resistant qualities of the surfaces it supplies. It is aiming to become the gold standard, since this too is achieved using an automated process developed by EUROGRATE® R&D.
